Therapy Services

Children who are abused need to work through their emotional pain and trauma.  To help them with the healing process, the DeKalb County CAC provides individual counseling services for young victims and support group meetings for their non-offending parents.

This program is partially funded by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs.

Additional Therapy Services

Therapists also provide therapy to At-Risk students in DeKalb County schools.  Students are referred by counselors, teachers, or principals.

This program is partially funded by DeKalb County Schools At-Risk Funds and Children's Trust Fund of Alabama.
