A trained parent educator offers free classes to parents in our community. By participating in the programs, parents learn valuable parenting skills. 

      Support is offered to parents of infants, young children, adolescents and teenagers.

       Classes are held at the Advocacy Center one hour per week for 6 to 8 weeks.  Scheduling is flexible for the participant's convenience.

 

During 2009 there were 412 Parent Education classes conducted with 315 parents participating.

 

     This program is funded by Children's Trust Fund of Alabama.
